Suffolk Headquarters - Boston, MA
One of the national construction leaders, Suffolk recently expanded their own headquarters in Boston to include a modern industrial cafeteria space aptly named Breaking New Ground Cafe. Although the physical space is relatively small, Suffolk spared no expense by incorporating high-end finishes throughout. Boston Showcase Company supplied the equipment and worked with a union installation company, FEI, to complete the project. BSC Project Manager Rick Manchester oversaw the project.
The highlights of the new space are the hot food serving line and the grab and go buffet line. The former features custom Randell equipment along with decorative sneeze guards from BSI Designs while the latter is an intricate piece from fabricator Savannah. The heavy cooking equipment includes heavy duty ranges from Jade Range and a high efficiency fryer battery with built-in filtration from Pitco. Other equipment are ACP microwaves, a Globe slicer, refrigeration from True Mfg., exhaust hoods from Aquamatic, an Alto-Shaam combi oven and a display case from RPI Industries.
